I was not totally surprised how well this product performed because my daughter in Florida owns one and used it while I visited her home. In the past 30 yrs. I've spent alot of money having a company out to clean my carpeting and could not afford to have the furniture cleaned because they charged twice as much than the carpeting. We have had this Hoover just over two years now in our 2 kid, 3 lab, 2 cat household (read: used at least 2-3 times per month). During this time, two internal hoses (the one that sucks up and the one they dispenses cleaner) have both broken - twice each. They do not even break at the same time, so I'm at a loss. I think they were around $30 to replace. The ridiculously small (considering it has to hold the whole hose) plastic clips that hold the attachment hose rack on in the back has broken. Wi......
Like it a lot. Use it on ceramic tile, vinyl flooring and hardwood floors. Picks up well. Does a nice job on our area rugs. It's smaller and lighter than others we've used.

Not anything like I hoped. Unfortunatly, it was purchased just a little over 1 yr ago, so can't return/exchange it. It wasn't used at all until last month, 1st time I actually had to use it since purchase, & i'm VERY disappointed. The water comes out ice cold, not steam vac as stated even on product. No matter what I do, even putting hot water in from microwave, water is still ice cold. Dosen't do well cleaning just simple stains, & even after going over carpets 2 to 3x, it just dosen't ......
I bought this cleaner because my Bissel conked out, and our dogs are, well, dogs.
Let me get this out of the way first. It works well. It cleans the carpet, and gets out the dirt, as evidenced by the black water that comes out of our rug.
That being said, it's strangely designed in ways it shouldn't be. Firstly, there are 2 tanks, one for clean water and one for waste. They are not labeled, and they look identical. There's a button on the front that says "tank release" tha......
